The other day I was lucky enough to work with a talented group of musicians that go by the name “Too Many Bicycles”. They’re a power Trio from San Jose, California.
Jesus Ponce – Bass, Vocals
Eric Garcia – Drums
Emanuel Paul – Guitar
Filmed with one Canon Rebel T2i and one T3i. Audio was captured with my Zoom H2n field mic. I wasn’t expecting the audio to record as well as it did.. so when I listened to it I knew I had to edit something together. This is the first time I’ve done a two camera shoot alone (sometimes panning both cameras at the same time!)
It certainly was a challenge. But I’m pretty proud with how it came out. I really dig these songs, and if the rest of the album is anything like these two songs, I’m gonna have to pick that one up as soon as it comes out.
I’m going to be working on another project with the singer for his other band “Imperialist”. I’m very excited about it, as he is offering me full creative control on this one. Can’t wait to start working on it!
I’m always looking for more artists to collaborate with, so if you are a musician, painter, writer, animator, etc.. hit me up. I’m working on my Portfolio and Demo Reels now, and the more projects I have under my belt the better.
Thanks for bringing me on board, guys. Keep making great music.
